By registering for, accessing, or using Oppex ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform.
Under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021, Oppex operates strictly as an Intermediary.
Oppex is strictly designed as an educational practice and preparation tool. Our mission is to assist users in understanding complex problems, learning methodologies, and preparing for future assessments.
The following uses are STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
a) Using the Platform during any active, proctored, or live examination, test, or assessment of any kind
b) Submitting content on behalf of another person for academic credit or any form of academic assessment
c) Account sharing between multiple users
d) Automated, scripted, or bot-based use of the Platform
e) Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models, system prompts, or proprietary logic used by the Platform
f) Submitting content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
g) Using the Platform to violate any local, state, national, or international law
h) Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
Consequences of Violation:If we determine, at our sole discretion or via a verified complaint from an educational institution or proctoring service, that you have violated this policy:
Oppex utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. However, you acknowledge and agree that:
All prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of all taxes, including GST. Payments and subscriptions are governed by our Refund Policy. To protect legitimate users and ensure service integrity, Oppex maintains server-side usage logs. In cases of disputed transactions, these logs are used to verify whether the service was delivered.
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy. The Platform's screen capture utility only captures the specific region of the screen manually selected by the user. It does not passively record your screen, background applications, or any content outside the selected region.
All content on the Oppex platform including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated responses are the property of Oppex or its licensors.
You retain ownership of the problem text you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Oppex a limited, non-exclusive license to process this content solely for the purpose of delivering the requested AI service.
Oppex does not use your submitted problem text to train AI models.To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Oppex's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Oppex in the 30 days preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Upon deletion:
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may nominate a trusted individual to exercise your data rights in the event of your death or incapacity. To register a nomination, contact privacy@oppex.io with the subject line *"Data Nominee Registration"* along with the nominated person's full name and contact information.
Oppex reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via:
Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
For disputes below ₹1 crore:
Parties shall first attempt resolution through 30 days of good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Seat of arbitration: Chilakaluripet, India.
For consumer disputes:
Nothing in these Terms limits your right to approach Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Courts of Chilakaluripet shall have exclusive jurisdiction for matters not subject to arbitration.
Oppex shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

The Platform is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

In compliance with Rule 3(2) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021, users may report grievances related to content, security, or terms violations to our designated Grievance Officer:
